Exams

It is the aim of Glenmoor and Winton Academies to make the examination experience as stress-free and successful as possible for all students. Hopefully, the information below will prove informative and helpful for both students and parents. 

Please read all the information carefully so you are aware of the examination regulations and the procedures to follow in the event of any problems occurring. For GCSEs, the awarding bodies (or examination boards) set down strict criteria which must be followed for the conduct of examinations and the school is required to follow them precisely. Any students in year 11 therefore must pay particular attention to any notices below. 

We sit our in-house Rank Order Assessments (ROAs) at various stages throughout the year. We will update any relevant information below, as well as on the student intranet, which all students have access to via their school Microsoft account. ROA dates are shown on our website calendar, and information will be sent out to families by email in advance of any ROAs taking place.
