The GW community are very grateful for the amazing volunteer support given by both Andy and Ollie last term. They gave up their valuable weekend time to complete a mammoth task for us chipping an absolute mountain of cleared vegetation. Andy, who is an experienced tree surgeon and landscaper, brought his commercial equipment onsite and kindly cleared the massive pile of debris and even left us with the much needed woodchip which we will be recycling around the new garden sites. So professional and so tidy - what a great job ! These are the volunteer heroes we love at GW. Students have arrived safely to the Azores after 16 hours of travel! Day one - Tour of Furnas Lake. Furnas sits inside a massive volcanic crater on São Miguel Island, and it’s still active. The scenery is incredible!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run over the weekend. Staff at GW also took part, running for the Ellis Edwards Foundation. Staff raised over £2400 for this incredible cause. Well done! #gwproud
