We received the fantastic news from the UL Carbon Neutral Team that Glenmoor & Winton Academies are the lowest energy consuming schools in the South over the last 12 months! A big shout-out to our amazing Eco Champions, Mr Masterman, and Ms Verreck, who have been working tirelessly to promote our carbon neutral vision. We also couldn't achieve this without support from our amazing staff and students. This goes to show that if we all work together, we can make a difference. Year 9 Grammar Stream enjoyed a trip to Bletchley Park last Thursday, where they learned about codes and ciphers, enigma machines, and the wider operations of Bletchley Park. We were very impressed by the curiosity displayed by our students, and how they applied themselves during the problem-solving task. #gwproud

We were honoured to host The Diana Award workshop for anti-bullying yesterday. The programme focuses on peer-to-peer interactions, and gives young people the skills and confidence to become Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. We are so proud of our young people who engaged so enthusiastically with the programme yesterday - you are a credit to our community.
