Saaim

Hello, my name is Saaim and I’m currently in Year 8. My favourite subject is ethics. I like this subject because my teachers tell us about different religions each term, making it fun and interesting to learn about other people.

Glenmoor and Winton academies offer lots of different types of clubs, so students can do activities. My favourite after-school club is badminton on Tuesday after school. I like this because it gives me the chance to learn skills as well as having fun with friends and even teachers! In addition, Glenmoor and Winton academies offer different school trips. One trip that was my favourite was the end of year reward trip to Thorpe Park.

I enjoyed this because it gave me the chance to socialise with friends and having fun on going on rides. Another trip I liked was the GW 2024 Sandwalk where the whole school got to go to the beach. I liked this because we all have fun as well as enjoying nature and not always being at school. GW has always been helpful to me because they not only help teach but also care about the students mental and physical health.
