Junior

Hi, my name is Junior I am currently in Year 8. My passions are running and acting,  I am a member of Bournemouth athletics club, and I train every Tuesday and Thursday and some Sundays, my specialty is sprinting in the 100 & 200m.

I have competed all around the southwest and even finished the season as the 13th fastest under 13 in the whole of the UK for my 100m time. I was the fastest under 13 in all of Poole and Dorset and was double county champion.

At school I am a part of the rugby team, the basketball team and athletics and attend rugby club on Mondays and gym ever Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. These have helped me improve my health and strength it has also improved my skills in those sports and others and have made my time at GW a lot more enjoyable. I also have a keen interest in acting, I attend two musical theatre schools Swish & Southcoast on Saturdays and on Sundays I am currently rehearsing for Shrek the musical through Swish which is on at the pavilion in February half term.

I have been acting since I was 5 and been a background artist in lots of films like , secret garden , fantastic beasts, Matilda and many more,  I was also lucky enough to be cast as a body double to the main cast in the new movie back in action with Jamie fox and Camron Diaz which has just come out on Netflix. I was also in the Netflix series Anatomy of a scandal where I played Ollie. I have also always been in love with music ever since my parents introduced me to their music, music is one of my hobbies where I enjoy creating rap and hip pop music. In school my favourite lessons are PE, music and drama but also art as I love anything creative.

I am part of the grammar stream and the excellence programme; all these give me extra opportunities to develop new skills as well as build on current skills. I was rewarded at the end of last year at school with several awards: sports student of the year, English and drama year 7 student of the year as well as the head of year award. In the future I have big ambitions to be in the 2032 Melbourne Olympics for my running, I am also working hard to get a main role in a film or series to fulfil my acting dreams. I would also be interested in directing as I have love making stories and movie ideas.
