FAQS

How do students pay for food in the canteen? / App / 855 / 74383705-bbf4-4af1-b78e-d5e06007386a
How do students pay for food in the canteen?

Before students can access the canteen, parents must first set up an account on https://ipayimpact.co.uk. If you have not been given a code to set up the account, please email ipay@glenmoorandwinton.org.uk.

Once the account has been created, funds can be added via a credit or debit card. We currently do not accept cash payments.

Students use their finger to pay for items in the canteen. Please note that the finger scan is not stored, the fingerprint merely creates a code which allows access to the account. We do not store the fingerprint anywhere.

If a student has not yet had their finger scanned, they can visit Glenmoor Lower 8 to have this done.

What happens if my child has run out of funds?

If students do not have enough funds on their account they can visit our reception to obtain a lunch slip. We will then request that this balance is repaid as a matter of urgency, by topping up iPay.

Slips can be obtained from either student or visitor reception.

If a student has outstanding debt we will not issue slips until this debt is paid.

If my child is Free School Meals, do I need to create an iPay account?

Parents of students who are eligible for Free School Meals do not need to create a parent account on iPay. However they are welcome to do so if they wish, to top up additional funds to the £2.52 entitlement.

What happens if I forget my iPay password?

Parents can reset their own password from https://www.ipayimpact.co.uk/IPI/Account/RecoverPassword

If you cannot remember your username then you will need to create a new account, as we are unable to see a list of parent accounts or usernames.

What is the minimum top-up amount for iPay?

The minimum top-up amount is £3. We currently have a maximum top-up of £100 for any one transaction.

Who operates the canteen?

The canteen is operated by Taylor Shaw. Our till software and iPay is operated by CRB Cunninghams and Capita.
