Students and staff at Glenmoor Academy were celebrating after GCSEs and equivalents were awarded across the country, with one student securing a highly impressive eleven grade 9s and one Level 2 Distinction*.
Testament to the excellent teaching and learning taking place at the school, 91% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths, with over three quarters (78%) of students achieving a grade 5 or above in the two subjects. Securing the highest grades, 36% of students achieved a grade 7 or above in both disciplines.

Today’s success cements an excellent academic year for the school during which Ofsted also confirmed the academy had maintained the standards of education from its previous inspection when it was judged ‘Outstanding’.

Glenmoor Academy's Progress 8 score of 1.14 put us top of the Bournemouth table and 37th in the country in 2024.

Another strong year of exam results for Glenmoor students, as 86% achieve a standard pass or above in English and mathematics.
Another record-breaking year as 88% of students achieve 4+ in both English and Mathematics. 95% pass rate in English, 88% in maths and 80% in science.
