"Mr Doyle is more than a teacher, he is honestly an inspiration to those he teaches at Glenmoor Academy. He invests so much time into all of his students, his passion for girls football has seen him create and set up a Football Academy stream at the school, which is the first of its kind in the South - providing 30 talented girls in year 8 and 9 the opportunity to blend football with education. He dedicates his time to develop and train these girls in football, before and after school, encourage and motivate them and even took the whole team to McDonalds (paid for by him!) to celebrate their County Cup win. I think I speak on behalf of all of the students in the Football Academy when I say that he makes school somewhere they want to be, somewhere they are proud to be, and somewhere where they feel heard and cared for. He is a truly special teacher, a one off, and someone who is going the extra mile in education to engage young teens and to keep them inspired and learning. He has instilled strong values in them and they are thriving not just in football but academically and as respectful young adults too. He is the epitome of someone who goes above and beyond for each individual student."
